Ingar has broad experience as a consultant within the energy- and transport sectors, through one year as a technical trainee with Det Norske Veritas and three years as a consultant with Boston Consulting Group. Ingar started working for THEMA in April 2015. His project experience include due diligence in M&A-processes, business strategy, organizational design, leadership development strategies and operational improvements for leading Nordic companies. He has previously held shorter part time / summer positions with NTNU, Statoil, Accenture and the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment (FFI).
Ingar holds a M.Sc. in Engineering Cybernetics from NTNU, specializing in model based control methods. His master’s thesis was written in collaboration with Statoil, and included mathematical modelling and development of automatic control algorithms for drilling operations from floating rigs.
Statnett are continuing last winter’s pilot to encourage aggregated demand to participate in reserve markets in NO1. THEMA’s evaluation of last year’s pilot showed positive experiences and an increased supply of reserves from flexible demand.
